Exciting rarities!

• Coins of the Confederacy
• "Lucky money" or fake currency?
• Journey back to coin collecting in 1979
• $2 notes in outer space
• "Missing" 1913 Liberty nickel found in closet!

This November, as collectors get excited about the upcoming auction of a rare 1913 Liberty Head nickel, we look back at the story behind the rediscovery of another example of the classic rarity – found in a closet in 2003!

Pierre Fricke continues his series about collecting Civil War-related numismatics and explores collecting coins issued by the Confederate States of America. We also look at collecting in 1979 and preview the upcoming issue of Paper Money Values, and I share how I got duped in Peru with "lucky money"!

As always, thanks for reading and let us know what you think!
